The City of Calgary is hosting their Canada Day celebrations at Fort Calgary on July 1, 2022. As part of the day, Fort Calgary invites you to join us for free museum admission, special art installations, film screenings and Canada Day-themed walking tours!

Join Fort Calgary for free Canada Day Walking Tours. Explore 40 acres of beautiful parkland while learning stories rooted in the site and reflecting on how these lands relate to the larger history of the creation of Canada.
Istotsi — The Land We Live On at 11 am, 2 pm and 3:30 pm:
Eight artists collaborated on this collage of short films by Making Treaty 7, which speaks from the heart to the land we live on. Admission is free on Canada Day. Drop in for a screening in Fort Calgary’s Burnswest Theatre.
Our Stories, Our Voices, Our Ways from 10 am – 5 pm
This new exhibition, presented in partnership with the Lodgepole Center at Alberta University of the Arts, showcases the work of multiple artists, who share their experiences of the world and honour the knowledge and brilliance given to them by the land and by their ancestors.
